Content
International database containing data on equities, bonds, interest rates, exchange rates, financial company information and macro economic data.
The sources of the data are the IMF, OECD, national governments, the Deutsche Bundesbank, the stock exchanges, I/B/E/S and the company reports.
Examples of macroeconomic data are: FDI, economic growth data and statistics of international private income.
Period: varies.
Update: daily.
 
I/B/E/S forecasts
Datastream includes data of the Institutional Brokers Estimates System (I/B/E/S). I/B/E/S provides consensus and detail forecasts from security analysts, including earnings per share, revenue, cash flow, long-term growth projections and stock recommendations. The current estimates cover about 15,000 companies worldwide.
 
Access
Datastream is available on one pc in the library. The library staff will be able to give assistance. You can make a reservation for Datastream at the information desk (library@nyenrode.nl; T 0346-291310). Datastream is only accessible for Nyenrode staff and students.

Search tips
  • For financial data and ratios of companies, click on 'Report on a single series' and select 'Performance, range & average'.
  • Datastream contains FDI data by country, continent and industry.
