The challenge

The ultimate goal for you as the recruiter for international bachelor students, is that you will thrive to succeed in making Nyenrode BScBA an international well known program. Therefore you will need to attract high quality international students who will apply for and ultimately enroll in our BScBA program.


You are responsible for acquisition in order to achieve the growth of international students. BScBA stakeholders are, for example, international schools and Nyenrode alumni. To make sure you will get in touch with the right contacts you will work closely with the marketing department. Building a long-term relationship with study counselors, visiting international schools and attending school fairs is your main focus. You will give information about our BScBA program to the potential students and will develop leads in to registrations. To timely process your administrative input, you will work with a CRM tool.


You and your colleague recruiter will give potential students a taste of the Nyenrode experience and make sure the potential students will be a perfect match with the program and  university. You will also organize events together with your colleague recruiter, you will be in the lead for event focused on international students. During an event you will represent and promote Nyenrode As a team, you will both be responsible for the new enrolled students and guide them to the start of their BScBA program and will develop a recruitment plan in line with marketing plan. .


Other members of the program management team are 2 program coordinators and a program manager. You will report to the Program Director.


Who are we looking for?

You have a Bachelor or Academic degree and preferably have relevant work experience. For example, you have worked as a recruiter at an employment or recruiting agency or have had a job as an account manager preferably in an international setting. You have a high stress resilience and are able to keep a helicopter view of your workload. 


Because of the international focus, you enjoy communicating with people from all over the world. Besides that, you have great social skills and come across as a sincere and empathetic person. You enjoy forming a team and like working together. But having your own independent task responsibilities and main focus is what you prefer too. Having patience is very important, as it takes time to invest getting to know your contacts and working towards successful results. Being flexible, proactive and having a strong sense of responsibility are also some of your personal characteristics.


You have a good understanding of both the English and Dutch language. The English language is preferably your first language. You have great organizational and administrative skills and also experience with MS Office. We prefer candidates who have affinity with the use of web applications such as Sharepoint and CRM.


Going abroad on several occasions a year is part of this job. Therefore you will have to be independent and enjoy taking on the challenge!

Depending on age and work experience, we offer a salary between € 2,371 and up to € 3,179, - gross per month for a full-time employment (scale 8).
