Beau Soederhuizen is a PhD-student in economics at Nyenrode Business University. Main research interests are: monetary policy and macroeconomic adjustment mechanisms. His current research focuses on monetary economics within the Euro-Area. Next to being actively involved in research, he also teaches managerial economics and serves as Program Coordinator for the European Financial Management Association (EFMA) Annual Meeting in 2015 hosted by Nyenrode Business University. 
Beau obtained his master’s degree (with honors) from the VU university in 2014. He wrote his thesis at the Dutch central bank (DNB) on fiscal policy at the zero lower bound.
