Henriëtte Bout completed her PhD program at Nyenrode Business Universiteit under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Edgar Karssing and Prof. Dr. Ronald Jeurissen.

Bout is interested in teaching organizations about moral issues. She always runs very fast when she can think with a group of people about what it is right to do (in a moral sense) and how to get it done in practice.

Bout has a background in Medical Biology and Science and Technology Studies. At Nyenrode, she started in 2013 as a PhD student and trainer at the Nyenrode Faculty Expertise Center Entrepreneurship, Governance & Stewardship. Before joining Nyenrode, Bout founded consulting firm ConScience, was an advisor at Bureau Integrity of the Gemeente Amsterdam and program coordinator and lecturer in Professional Ethics and Philosophy of Science at the Universiteit van Amsterdam.

She actively seeks new ways to work towards a fair society and a livable planet, likes to take the initiative for projects that can contribute to this and enjoys working with various people and organizations to achieve goals.
