Overview
General Management Programs
The goal of the Nyenrode General Management programs is to develop responsible leaders, entrepreneurs and organizations so that they are ready for the leadership of the future. We do this by offering the unique combination of academic theory, practical relevance and a focus on personal development. We provide an ideal and safe learning environment for participants to work on personal and effective leadership, at every stage of their careers. A distinguishing characteristic of our approach is that participants use the academic theory and insights they learn and apply these directly in practice. We focus on personal development within the business context of the organizations where participants are employed.
Selma Spaas is Program Director of the General Management Programs as of October 15, 2019. Before that, she was Program Manager of the Advanced Management Program.
Strategic Leadership Program celebrates 10 years anniversary
The first cohort of the Strategic Leadership Program began in 2009. Ten years later, 21 groups with a total of 340 participants have completed the program aimed at increasing the impact of their strategic leadership. To commemorate this milestone, the program’s alumni were invited to attend the Alumni Event on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. The focus was on reconnecting, gaining new knowledge and inspiration, and celebrating our anniversary. Guest speaker Princess Laurentien of Orange engaged in dialogue with the alumni during the event.
