Internationalization Strategy

Due to the impact of COVID-19 on higher education, Nyenrode has prioritized harmonizing its current academic partnerships. The majority of Nyenrode’s 35 partnerships have been renewed, while a long-term partnership agreement has been signed with the triple-crown Insper Institute of Education & Research (Brazil). Shortly before the global pandemic, eight universities were added to Nyenrode’s portfolio of partnerships.

A corporate partnership was initiated with Tata Consultancy Services, which has longstanding ties with Nyenrode. Both parties agreed upon collaboration in a wide range of fields that will ensure vast opportunities for Nyenrode’s students and faculty. The latter are invited to contribute to the CFO 2025 Report, a comprehensive study on relevant topics impacting the world of finance in collaboration with leading CFOs across the world.

Nyenrode became a member of the European University Association (EUA), an international organization that plays a critical role in the Bologna Process and in advising the EU on its policies pertaining to higher education, research, and innovation. The Bologna Process is in place to improve higher education in Europe, particularly by facilitating the mobility of staff and students and by making higher education more inclusive and accessible. By becoming a member, Nyenrode has solidified its international network and gained more opportunities to participate in important university conferences worldwide.
