The challenge

The fulltime MSc in Management (FTMScM) program is a sixteen month intensive program for ambitious students from different backgrounds. The program is offered in both Breukelen and Amsterdam campuses. The program is characterized by the unique combination of academic business knowledge, practical relevance and personal development.

The quality and continuity of the FTMScM program lie in your hands as Program Manager. You monitor the program content and work closely together with lecturers, Head of Program Management, other Program Managers and Program Coordinators. You are the first point of contact for lecturers concerning all educational aspects. Together with the team you ensure flawless execution of the program.  You lead a small team of program coordinators on a functional level, and you facilitate them to be able to execute their work and be happy.

In this function, you combine a business setting with a heart for people. You develop, organize, and improve the program and you ensure an overall monitoring of the long-term and short-term quality, continuity, and results of the program. For the improvement and development of the program, you respond to market demands through evaluations and interviews. You also play an essential role in the marketing and recruitment of the program. 

 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Alignment of the FTMScM curriculum with faculty. Embedding clear learning objectives throughout the curriculum and arranging the alignment of different courses within the curriculum. 
  • Organization of the FTMScM program in Amsterdam within a multidisciplinary team and in close collaboration with the Program Coordinators, the other Program Managers, and the Head of Program Management, to run the program smoothly. 
  • Advising the Head of Program Management on the curriculum development and innovation, quality, and organization of the program
  • Continuous improvement of the daily operational processes
  • Cooperation with marketing and recruitment and interviewing potential students.
  • Support the realization of the strategic goals of the program. 
  • Preparation of various national and international accreditations and contribution to Assurance of Learning

Who are you?

You have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and you have obtained at least three years of relevant work experience as a manager, preferably in the higher education field. You possess the ability to keep a good overview and keep calm while working under pressure. You are precise in what you do, and you enjoy dealing with detailed administration. You clearly communicate with lecturers, students, and colleagues and to be strict when necessary. 

You are smart, flexible (also in working hours and in working in Breukelen), enthusiastic and you have a “can do” attitude. You show ownership, you come up with solutions for issues yourself and advise pro-actively. You are an excellent and open communicator and a team player. You can motivate and inspire others. You are service and result oriented, reliable and integer. You flourish in a culturally diverse and dynamic working environment with highly educated professionals and high demands in which you remain standing firmly. And of course, you enjoy working with students and lecturers and you are willing to make the ‘’Nyenrode experience’’ an unforgettable and valuable experience. An excellent command of the English language is of great importance.

  • A gross salary between € 3.177, - and € 4.951, - depending on your seniority and experience (Scale 10)
  • 30 days off (with the possibility of an additional five) 
  • Fixed 5,1 % end of year bonus.

  • Allowance of € 850 to be spent with Coolblue to facilitate a home office.
