Scholarships


Scholarships full-time Master in Management (MSc) 2009-2010

Nyenrode Business Universiteit offers a number of scholarships for which candidates who have been admitted to the Master in Management 2009/2010 program are eligible to apply. Each scholarship is worth at least € 2,500 and each recipient will also be assigned an experienced business manager as a personal coach throughout the program. The scholarships are donated by companies, the Stichting Nyenrode Fonds (Nyenrode Foundation) and Nyenrode’s dedicated alumni.

The Master in Management scholarship program consists of two rounds, with two different deadlines.

Round 1

To be eligible to apply for the first round of scholarships, candidates must submit their applications to the Master in Management Program by 25 May 2009.

In this round we offer four partial (10,000 Euro) scholarships. To apply please create a short video (details here). The videos will be evaluated by the scholarship jury, which will select the scholarship winners.

We are proud to offer one additional partial (10,000 Euro) scholarship, the Nationale Haringpartij Scholarship. To compete for this scholarship please submit your video of no more than 2 minutes on the topic "The eminent importance of having and being able to display social skills in order to establish and to maintain relationships" to scholarships@nyenrode.nl by the below-mentioned deadline. The authors of the best 3 videos will be invited for an interview, after which a winner will be selected.

Scholarship application deadline: June 15, 2009.

Round 2

The second scholarship round takes place at the start of the Main Phase of the Master in Management program (January 2010). Those students starting the main phase who did not win a scholarship in the first round, are more than welcome to participate. The scholarships in the second round are offered by more than 20 recognized companies. Scholarships will be awarded based on:  letter of motivation, CV, presentation and personal interview.

More information about this round will be communicated during the Adaptation Phase of the Master in Management program (September-December 2009).
