Nyenrode

Rent a Location

Introduction

At Nyenrode, everything revolves around the transfer and sharing of knowledge, the meeting of people, contemplation and looking ahead. Both the university and the Nyenrode estate serve as a platform and meeting place for businesses and for networking. Rooted in a Dutch landscape, Nyenrode combines all the allure from the past - the castle and the long educational tradition - with the modern and pre-eminent role it plays today in the field of education and entrepreneurship. Nyenrode is a fantastic location for your business meeting or event. Isolated, yet in the middle of everything; in a peaceful landscape, yet at the heart of bustling activity. This unique atmosphere is certain to contribute to a successful gathering.

The Nijenrode estate is dominated by the thirteenth-century castle. Situated in a park-like estate and surrounded by a moat, the castle is a true eye-catcher. The Nijenrode estate is known for its beautiful landscape architecture. Since 2001, the estate has enjoyed the protection provided by the Historic Buildings and Ancient Monuments Act. The estate is bordered by the Vecht River and the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. The deer park, the maze, the rose garden, hiking and jogging trails through the woods, and a lane with centuries-old chestnut trees - these are only a few examples of the features that make the estate so unique.

In addition to the historic castle with its coach house (renovated in 2008), on the 50-hectare estate, you will also find our modern, multifunctional educational buildings with their wide variety of lecture halls. These comfortable lecture halls are all equipped with modern presentation and communication facilities. Nyenrode also offers overnight accommodation facilities, a restaurant and event catering services.

Prior to your meeting, you can plan and organize your gathering in close cooperation with the Events & Reservations Department. Obviously, this is done within the options available at Nyenrode. Nyenrode is a university where education takes priority over external events. In addition, Nyenrode will not allow events that are similar to its own offering of courses and programs, or those that do not square with the university's mission.
