From day one we ensure that you will have a soft landing and feel part of the Nyenrode community. During our red-carpet program at the beginning of each academic year we prepare all incoming international students for cultural and academic differences through fun activities such as workshops, Dutch language courses and field trips. Each program, moreover, has its own introduction week where you will get to know your Dutch colleagues and the program.
All kinds of social events are organized throughout the year on our campuses in Amsterdam and Breukelen to make your Nyenrode experience an unforgettable one. Our student associations are open to internationals and it is encouraged to join them. The associations, the Jongste Compagnie van Verre (JCV) in Amsterdam and the Nieuwe Compagnie van Verre (NCV) in Breukelen, have committees dedicated to organizing community-building events and celebrating festivities such as Dia de los Muertos and Lunar New Year.
Alternatively, there are International Student Networks in Utrecht (10 mins from Breukelen) and Amsterdam that are open to everyone. Like their Facebook pages to stay up to date on the activities they organize for international students during the year!
