Marika Beindorff, Full-time MBA alumna and Valedictorian, shares with us her experience at Nyenrode and how the university’s core values shaped her development.

Recently a Nyenrode Breakfast Session took place at Nyenrode in Amsterdam in cooperation with Henriette van Eeghen, founder of Impact Matters.

On Friday 3 September 2021, a great (corona proof) Full-time MBA graduation ceremony took place in the decorated sports hall at Nyenrode in Breukelen.

On April 20th, Nyenrode welcomed speaker Marieke Vrins as part of the Nyenrode Online Breakfast Sessions. She introduced the participants to the challenges related to her work for several NGO’s on the Greek Island Lesvos.

Last week, the Executive MBA students were surprised at home with a dose of Rock ’n’ Roll. Elisa Ostet and Erwin Nyhoff toured the country in a Cadillac to surprise students, because the planned module in South Africa could not go through due to the corona measures. That resulted in some cool dance moves and the occasional tear.

The business world has become more complex, and job roles have become more dynamic and flexible. Especially with the Covid-19 virus. To succeed requires taking control, anticipation, building personal development in leadership, and information retrieval. Developing your career in this landscape means no only developing your leadership style, but also learning to base your management decisions on thorough academic rigor with the pursuit for practical relevance. Although the future is unclear, it still involves acting in advance working towards goals before achieving them. Undertaking an executive MBA (EMBA) can be a good way to do this.
