Henk Langendijk is Emeritus Professor of Financial Accounting at Nyenrode Business Universiteit. His research focused primarily on quality of external reporting, reporting and corporate governance, creative accounting and fraudulent reporting and integrated reporting.
Henk obtained his master’s in Business Economics at the University of Amsterdam. In 1994 he went on to obtain his doctorate at Leiden University with a dissertation on ‘The market for legal accountants audit in the Netherlands. Some quantitative and qualitative aspects’.
Henk is full professor at the University of Amsterdam (Financial Accounting); editor of Maandblad Accountancy en Bedrijfseconomie (MAB). Furthermore, Henk is working as a consultant in the field of financial accounting and reporting and gives seminars in this field for government, NBA, SRA, audit firms, NGOs and companies.
