Prof. dr. Miša Džoljić MBA

Prof. Dr Miša Džoljić is a former Rector Magnificus and CEO of Nyenrode Business University. He was appointed from November 1^st, 2012 until October 1^st, 2020. After his abdication, Prof. Dr. Džoljić appointed as professor in Healthcare Management.

Prior to his appointment at Nyenrode Business University, Prof. Dr.Miša Džoljić, (Skopje, Yugoslavia 1962) was Member of the Executive Board of the Academic Medical Center (AMC) in Amsterdam and Vice-Dean of the Medical Faculty of the University of Amsterdam. From 1999 to 2006, he was a member of the management team and then Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Professor of Anesthesiology at the AMC - University of Amsterdam. In the late 1990s, Miša Džoljić worked at KPMG Management Consulting in Utrecht focusing on Change Management, Organization Development and Operations Management in hospitals. 

Prof. Džoljic studied medicine, with a specialization in anesthesiology, at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He received his doctorate in this specialization at the University of Amsterdam and also has a MBA from Nyenrode and the Simon School of Business Administration in Rochester (NY) USA.
