Drs. Petri Hofsté RA

Petri Hofsté joined the board of Stichting Nyenrode in 2014 and has been serving as its chair since February 1, 2021. She is a committed and authentic leader with extensive knowledge and experience in finance, risk management, supervision, governance, and audit in complex organizations. She has also demonstrated experience in crisis and change management. Hofsté operates from the belief in achieving sustainable change, solutions, and results and places great value on integrity, reliability, quality, and responsibility.

Current Positions

In addition to her chairmanship at Stichting Nyenrode, Hofsté currently holds several other positions, including commissioner at Pon Holdings B.V., Rabobank, Achmea Investment Management, Achmea, Achmea Schadeverzekeringen, Achmea Pensioen & Leven, and Fugro N.V. She is also the chairperson of the board of Stichting Capital Amsterdam and Vereniging Hendrick de Keyser (Hendrick de Keyser), and a member of the advisory board of SER Topvrouwen.

Previous Positions

Before taking up these positions, Hofsté was, among other things, a commissioner at Kas Bank, chair of the supervisory board at Achmea Hypotheekbank, and commissioner at BNG Bank. She also held the position of CFRO (Chief Financial and Risk Officer) at APG Groep, divisional director of Banking Supervision at De Nederlandsche Bank, CFO at RBS Holdings N.V., and Group controller and deputy CFO at ABN Amro.

Education

Hofsté studied business administration and business economics at Nyenrode Business University and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She also studied accountancy at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Awards

On November 9, 2022, Hofsté was appointed Officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau for her dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion in the boardroom and beyond. She has been named the most influential commissioner in the Netherlands multiple times.
