Petri Hofsté appointed new chair of Stichting Nyenrode

As of January 1, 2020, Jan Nooitgedagt RA will hand over the chairmanship of Stichting Nyenrode to Petri Hofsté RA. Stichting Nyenrode has a supervisory role with respect to the Executive Board and Nyenrode as a university. 

Under Nooitgedagt’s leadership, Nyenrode has modernized its governance, invested in the estate and castle, and laid the foundation for sound business practices across all entities on the estate.

As chairman of Stichting Nyenrode and shareholder of Nyenrode Business Universiteit, Nooitgedagt has also contributed to strategy development up until his departure.

Jan: “My time as chairman of Stichting Nyenrode has been enjoyable and very inspiring. The estate and the university are in good shape, and that means I can say goodbye with peace of mind. I would like to thank my fellow board members, the Executive Board and all Nyenrode employees for the great collaboration and wonderful experience. I wish Nyenrode and its staff all the best for the future, and I am very happy that Petri Hofsté will be the new chairman.”

Petri Hofsté has been a board member of Stichting Nyenrode since 2014 and is pleased to be taking over the chairmanship:

Petri Hofsté holds various roles as a supervisory director, including at Achmea, Fugro, PON and Rabobank. She studied business administration, business economics and accountancy. Petri is also a Nyenrode alumna.
