About the fund

The Nyenrode Fund Foundation is the university fund of Nyenrode Business University. The foundation operates as an independent ANBI organization and operates completely autonomously from Nyenrode Business University and the Nyenrode Foundation, the owner of the estate. However, all expenditures benefit the Nyenrode Foundation or Nyenrode Business University by financing projects for the benefit of students, the educational facilities and the heritage.

To do this, capacity and financial resources have been made available from Nyenrode Business University (NBU) for the functions of the director and the fundraiser. The board of the Nyenrode Fund Foundation consists predominantly of alumni and does this unpaid. They currently do not receive any expense allowance. This means that 100% of all earmarked donations go to the project.

Our mission is to invest in the past, present and future of the university. The fund makes money available for preserving the Nijenrode past, such as the monuments, heritage and traditions. For today's education, the fund invests in the quality of the educational facilities. In addition, the Nyenrode Fund Foundation contributes to the future by making scholarships possible for students who otherwise would not have the financial means to study at Nyenrode.

ANBI status

Donors of the Nyenrode Fund Foundation benefit from a tax benefit. The foundation is in fact a recognized Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling (ANBI). As an ANBI organization we are obliged to publish annual accounts. The requirement is that men at least publish the balance sheet, statement of income and expenditure and explanatory notes. We have chosen to provide additional information in addition to the presentation of the figures. In our accountability, we discuss the goals that have been set and the results achieved. We provide insight into spending and look ahead.
