The Nyenrode Fund Foundation is an independent ANBI organization and operates entirely independently of Nyenrode Business University and the Nyenrode Foundation. All expenditures contribute to the university and fall under the pillars of scholarships, research, and heritage.
Nyenrode's mission is 'serving society by shaping responsible leaders for a sustainable future'. Through our education and research, we aim to inspire leaders to develop into responsible individuals capable of driving sustainable transformation.
The Nyenrode Fund contributes to this mission by raising funds for three pillars:
The Nyenrode Fund holds ANBI status, recognized as a Public Benefit Organization. This means that under certain conditions, donations are tax-deductible.
The current form and mission of the Nyenrode Fund originated in 2004 and emerged from the Postma Chair Foundation. This foundation provided "soft" loans and grants to students to finance their studies. Thanks to generous gifts from alumni, the Fund was established, offering talented students the opportunity to study at Nyenrode.
In 2004, the then-President of Nyenrode, Herman Bruggink, initiated the establishment of the Nyenrode Fund Foundation as we know it today. Henceforth, funds were also raised for other projects, including the maintenance of our heritage and educational facilities, as well as for research projects.
