Drs. Åge van Roon QC RC EMFC

Drs. Åge van Roon QC RC EMFC teaches several courses within the MAC spectrum in the Accountancy, Controlling, and intake programs. He also supervises master’s theses and serves as a member of the Examination Board. For him, individually guiding and coaching students is the most rewarding part of his work. “The moment when a student finally passes a challenging course is incredibly rewarding.”

Van Roon began his career in the transportation sector before moving into the hospitality industry, both in the Netherlands and abroad. He later worked at a health insurance company, an organization supporting people with intellectual disabilities, and a large Belgian bank-insurer.

Other interests

Van Roon enjoys going to the gym, running, and riding his Harley to Nyenrode at a relaxed pace. He is also pursuing a degree in psychology at the Open University, which he greatly enjoys.
