Do you have any questions about the library or the online information sources? Our information desk staff is there for you during the library's opening hours. This is also the place for borrowing and returning books.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Ways to acces DataSTream

  1. On your own device: Install DataStream Workspace via Teams on a Windows PC/laptop.
  2. On-campus in Breukelen: All public computers in the library building are equipped with DataStream and Teams. Access is available in person or via remote login through Teams.
  3. Amsterdam campus: A dedicated computer with DataStream and Teams is available in the campus library.

Note: The passwords for the DataStream accounts are managed by the library and are not shared with students. This prevents users from logging each other out.
For remote access, we will send a Teams meeting invitation to your Nyenrode email address for your reserved time slot. During the session, we will enter the password for you by taking over the screen.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Nyenrode professors, students, and staff can request articles or books not accessible via the library website (Information sources | Nyenrode Business University) through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

Before applying:
  1. Check sources like Google Scholar, EBSCO, and Google to see if the PDF is freely available.
  2. If the article/book is not freely accessible, you may request it via ILL.

Study Spots

Looking for a quiet place to study?

  • Individual study spots are available in the library.
  • Group cubicles are located both in the library building and in the Koetshuis wing.

Opening hours

  • The library in Breukelen is open on Monday and Friday from 12 PM - 5 PM. 
  • The library in Amsterdam is open on Monday to Thursday from 8 AM - 7 PM and Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Computers & Wi-Fi

In the library we have a number of computers for your use. There are two wireless networks at Nyenrode:

  1. The open network Guest Wi-Fi for visitors to our university.
  2. The secure network eduroam for students and staff.
    You can login to eduroam Wi-Fi with your Nyenrode email address and password. Eduroam provides direct access to our online information sources.

Multi-functional printers

It is possible to use the multi-functional Canon printers in the library and other publicly accessible places. You can log in via: www.nyenrode.nl/print
