Nyenrode Business University has improved its position in both open and customized programs for organizations in this year’s Financial Times Executive Education Ranking. The strongest growth came from its customized programs, which climbed an impressive 19 places to rank 62 globally, making Nyenrode the highest-ranked provider in the Netherlands in this category.
Micky Adriaansens, Chair of the University Board of Nyenrode Business University: “Building a bridge between scientific research and the day-to-day reality of organizations is at the core of Nyenrode. Especially in times of increasing complexity and change, Nyenrode’s approach provides leaders and professionals with direction and support. Together with our clients, we truly dive deep: what is happening within the organization, what strategic challenges are emerging, and what fits this specific organization? That approach results in educational programs that truly make an impact. The recognition we receive for this brings tremendous satisfaction.”
Customized Programs
Organizations rated Nyenrode’s customized programs higher across all categories. Significant improvements were made in preparation, program design, teaching quality, and learning impact. Particularly important is the strong score organizations gave when asked whether they would choose Nyenrode again for future assignments, a result we truly value.
Open Programs
Nyenrode also improved its position in Open Executive Education — programs accessible to professionals from all sectors and organizations — rising from position 69 to 64. Former participants rated the programs higher across all categories compared to last year, while overall satisfaction remained high with an average rating of 9 out of 10. Among all business schools in the Netherlands, Nyenrode achieved the highest scores for helping participants develop new skills, achieve their learning goals, and benefit from strong post-program support.
Over the past few years, the Executive Education landscape in the Financial Times Ranking has expanded by approximately 25 business schools worldwide, making Nyenrode’s rise in the rankings even more significant.
Adriaansens added: “These results are not only a wonderful recognition, but above all an incentive to continue growing. With our AACSB accreditation and the Triple Crown status we achieved — the highest recognition in business education — we feel strongly motivated to continue this upward trajectory. In a world that is constantly evolving, Nyenrode continues to embrace its pioneering spirit to empower leaders and professionals to truly make a difference.”
