Biography
Dr. Zahar Koretsky is an Assistant Professor in Sustainability Transformations and Digital Innovation at the Center for Entrepreneurship, Governance and Stewardship. His main research topics are sustainability and ESG transformations, as well as digital innovation in organizations. He works on integrating sustainability and ESG principles into companies through digital innovations.
Koretsky is an interdisciplinary scholar trained in transition studies. He has published in journals such as Environmental Innovation and Societal Transitions and Energy Research & Social Science. He is best known for his work on the decline and phase-out of technologies. He obtained his PhD, entitled Unravelling: The Dynamics of Technological Decline, from Maastricht University (2022).
International activities
Koretsky is a member of the international Sustainability Transitions Research Network. Most of his research concerns the European and international levels.
