Prof. dr. Anke van Hal investigates the possibilities of increasing residents' enthusiasm for taking energy measures in their own homes by taking the behavioral factor into account more than usual. She presents a solution strategy, the so-called Merger of Interests approach, which is leading in what she calls the 'third success factor'. In her research, she elaborates on the meaning of this 'third success factor' for neighborhoods characterized by a great diversity of different challenges.
