Doede Vierstra appointed as a member of the Nyenrode Foundation Board

On April 7th, Drs. Doede Vierstra (1958) was appointed as a member of the Nyenrode Foundation Board and as new chairman of the Audit Committee. He will assume the office of Petri Hofsté, who was appointed Chairman of the Board on January 1st. As chairman of the Audit Committee Vierstra is also a member of the Executive Committee. All appointments are for a period of at least 4 years.
Vierstra has broad experience as a supervisor and director. He is a former CFO of Friesland Foods and Nuon and currently a director on behalf of the Ondernemingskamer. He is also chairman of the Supervisory Board of Stedin and a member of the LUMC. Until March this year, he acted as an interim chairman of the Coöperatie SURF U.A., a collaboration organization in the field of IT facilities and IT innovation of Dutch education and research institutions. He is also chairman of the Supervisory Board KNGF Guide Dogs.
The Nyenrode Foundation Board is a shareholder of the university and owner of the castle and the Nijenrode Estate.
