Nyenrode Business University now ranks among the top 1% of business schools worldwide. With the awarding of AACSB accreditation, Nyenrode has completed the prestigious trio of the world’s leading international accreditations for business schools: AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS.
“We are extremely proud of our Triple Crown accreditations, an international recognition of the way we work. Translating scientific knowledge into practical application is what Nyenrode excels at,” says Micky Adriaansens, Chair of the University Board. “Especially now, it is essential to educate leaders who not only understand how the world is changing, but who also feel responsible for its direction.”
International position
This exceptional recognition highlights the high quality and strong international position of Nyenrode in education, research, and practical impact. Only a very limited number of business schools worldwide meet the rigorous quality standards required for these accreditations.
Academic excellence and societal impact
The combination of these accreditations confirms Nyenrode’s continued commitment to academic excellence, entrepreneurship, and personal development. It also underscores the strong connection between science and practice that characterizes Nyenrode’s education and research. With this unique combination of three international accreditations and its B Corp certification, Nyenrode stands out globally as one of only two business schools that unite academic excellence and societal impact at this level.
With this milestone, Nyenrode further strengthens its position as a leading business university and remains committed to educating responsible leaders who create value for both organizations and society.
AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), AMBA (Association of MBAs), and EQUIS (EFMD Quality Improvement System) are regarded as the three leading international accreditations for business schools. The accreditation processes focus, among other aspects, on academic quality, governance, research, international positioning, and the connection with practice. Only 1% of business schools worldwide hold all three accreditations.
