"We look forward to shaping the future of business education together."
Nyenrode Business Universiteit announces a more intensive collaboration with Microsoft aimed at improving data-driven decision-making and further personalizing and optimizing the student experience. In addition, Nyenrode's courses on digital transformation and ICT will be enriched with insights and guest speakers from Microsoft.
"We are delighted to expand our collaboration with Microsoft," said Koen Becking, rector magnificus of Nyenrode. "By joining forces, we can better support our students in their development into the responsible leaders of tomorrow. By making smarter use of the latest technologies and insights from Microsoft experts, we thrive in a data-driven world and can offer a more personalized experience to our students. Alumni will also notice the difference, with a more relevant education offer throughout their careers as part of lifelong learning. Because if we learn anything from the current era of disruptive developments, it is that we are never done learning."
As part of the collaboration, Microsoft will partially train its talented employees at Nyenrode and provide guest speakers for executive courses focused on digital transformation and ICT. These experts will provide participants with insight into the latest developments in the industry and prepare them for the future of work.
"We are honored to share our expertise at Nyenrode and be part of this historic institution," said Anna van den Breemer, Public Sector Lead at Microsoft Netherlands. "Our joint efforts will not only result in improving the student journey by making it more data-driven, but will also help to further strengthen the bond with alumni. Nyenrode is a small-scale university with an extremely personal approach to students - Microsoft helps align the data strategy with this approach. Recent developments around AI will further strengthen this. Together with the organization's ability to execute, this makes Nyenrode the ideal partner to work with in this area."
Becking said: "Together, we can ensure a state-of-the-art educational experience that enables students to reach their full potential. We are excited to collaborate more closely with Microsoft and look forward to shaping the future of business education together."
