Sustainability & Systemic Change

Sustainable entrepreneurship offers a ‘license to grow and to operate for the future’. For both governments and organizations, sustainability is an integral part of a future-proof strategy. Not only because of the impact on our environment, but also in terms of the many new business opportunities this offers, based on multiple and shared value creation. This requires a proactive and strategic approach from a chain (transcending) perspective. Do you want to be the leader within your own organization that fuels the change to sustainable entrepreneurship? Are you looking for the tools to initiate new opportunities or to respond effectively in the face of game-changing innovations? The module Sustainability & Systemic Change deals with these questions in a practice-oriented approach.

Sustainable value creation through strong and progressive leadership

Over the course of our module Sustainability & Systemic Change you will develop the knowledge and skills to create opportunities for sustainable value creation from a leadership role. Using test cases from the practice of our participants we discuss the consequences of economic activity for the planet, the environment, the climate, humanity and society, and the risks and particularly the interesting opportunities this offers for disruptive innovation. Following on that, you will reflect on your own role, and you will learn how to make greater impact on your organization with sustainable leadership and entrepreneurship.

  • Content matching the participants' work practice
  • Developing by learning from each other
  • Modular program design

What are you going to do?

In the module Sustainability & Systemic Change, you will discover how your organization can benefit from opportunities for sustainable value creation. In addition, you will develop your skills in sustainable leadership and your ability to persuade others, both within and outside your organization. The module consists of three blocks:
  • Why do we need disruptive innovation for a sustainable world?
  • Recognizing and using sustainability as an opportunity for game-changing innovation
  • How do you manage organizational change and disruptive innovation?

What’s in it for you?

  • You gain insight in the consequences and risks associated with economic activity for the environment and for people
  • You recognize interesting new opportunities for innovation linked to sustainability
  • You develop your own leadership role in implementing changes regarding sustainability
  • You reflect on your own values and on your interpretation of your leadership role
  • You gain persuasive skills with regards to sustainable entrepreneurship
