Yasmina Khadir - Poggi

Biography

Learning is challenging and sometimes frustrating; but it is the love of my life! It gives meaning to my existence and prevents me from falling in the kingdom of boredom.

Dr. Yasmina Khadir-Poggi is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at Nyenrode Business University. She is part of Nyenrode's Faculty Research Center for Strategy, Organization & Leadership

She also serves as Academic Responsible for the Bachelor program and is a member of the iMBA Program Committee. Additionally, she is an Associate Editor at The Bottom Line journal with Emerald Publishing. The two main topics she shares with students are business strategy and research methods.

She completed a PhD at Trinity Business School, Ireland. Previously she obtained her Master's degree at University Pantheon-Sorbonne in Paris and completed an Agrégation in Economics, Management and Law at the École Normale Supérieure of Paris-Saclay.

Khadir-Poggi's research interests concentrate in knowledge management and philosophy of social sciences. Her research focuses on the development of a dynamic and holistic knowledge-based theory of the firm considering the micro-mechanisms and foundations that articulate knowledge emergence and creation. Revisiting the original epistemological foundations of knowledge management, a Marxian alternative is explored using activity theory.
She has substantial international experience in higher education, having taught BSc, MSc, MBA, and EMBA classes in France, Ireland, and The Netherlands."
