Exchange Students

Welcome to Nyenrode Business University

What can I study?

Nyenrode offers an exchange opportunity in our three-year Bachelor in Business Administration degree. As an incoming exchange student you can join us for the fall semester (Sept-Dec) on our Breukelen campus.

You can select courses from both the 2nd and 3rd year. You’re advised to choose the 3rd year courses and only select 2nd year courses if you might be experiencing a roster clash. Furthermore, you’ll see your exchange semester (30 ECTS) is divided into two terms of 8 weeks and equal 15 ECTS each. Exams will take place in the same terms.

Any questions? Don’t hesitate to get in touch. Simply send us an email to

Nyenrode currently does not offer an exchange opportunity in our MSc in Management and MBA programs.

When do I apply?

Your online application deadline as an incoming student is 31 May 2021.

How do I apply?

Great to hear you’re keen to join Nyenrode for a semester! So what’s next? Your application. Nyenrode has an extensive network of valued partners. Maybe your home university is one of them. It’s worth checking, because it would mean you could join Nyenrode without paying additional tuition or service fees. Furthermore, you may be eligible for the Erasmus+ allowance.

Your home institution may have its own processes in place, so first check with them if you are required to apply through your home institution or directly apply to Nyenrode. If the latter applies, simply fill out the following forms and send them to before 31 May 2021.

  1. Application form 2021*
  2. Campus form 2021*
  3. Course selection form 2021*
*The application documents will be available in Spring 2021.
