Nyenrode has two campuses: one in the picturesque and green Breukelen and one in the cosmopolitan city of Amsterdam. As a full degree campus you can choose both, as an exchange student you will be staying with us in Breukelen. Below you find more information on what to expect when staying with us!
Housing in Amsterdam
Nyenrode offers student accommodations at OurDomain, a new housing complex only 15 minutes by subway from Amsterdam city center. The modern self-contained apartments are designed for bachelor, master, and PhD students. OurDomain is situated next to a train and metro station. This station offers frequent and direct transport links to Amsterdam Central Station, Schiphol Amsterdam Airport and Utrecht.
Facilities
OurDomain houses a lively international student community and several facilities such as a supermarket (open seven days a week), restaurants, cafés, a fitness center, a print shop, a launderette, and study rooms. All apartments at OurDomain feature a living area, a modern bathroom and open kitchen.
Costs
A furnished apartment at OurDomain costs about € 960,42 - € 1.087,83 per calendar month, depending on the type of apartment. The rent for two persons is approximately € 1.254,77. The monthly rent includes bicycle parking, TV and internet subscriptions, gym membership, and access to the tennis court and study halls. The monthly rent excludes service costs and utility advances. Housing allowance (Huurtoeslag) cannot be granted.
We are aware of the student housing shortage in The Netherlands, especially in Amsterdam. We are trying our best to guarantee rooms for our students. However, we strongly recommend you register for our program at least three months before the start date so that we have enough time to book your housing in advance.
