EMBA22 celebrates graduation at Nyenrode

A special milestone was celebrated at Nyenrode Business University as the participants of Executive MBA cohort 22 (EMBA22) received their MBA diplomas. Together with family, friends, faculty and members of the Nyenrode community, the graduates marked the completion of an intensive and memorable journey.

Throughout their Executive MBA, the participants combined their professional careers with challenging assignments, classroom discussions and international study experiences. Their journey took them from the Nyenrode campus to New York, Singapore, Costa Rica and South Africa, among other destinations. Along the way, they broadened their perspectives, challenged themselves and each other, and built connections that will continue well beyond the program.

Celebrating achievements

During the graduation ceremony, MBA alumna Alexandra van der Haak-Ciumeti addressed the graduates as keynote speaker. The ceremony also provided an opportunity to recognize several members of the EMBA22 community for their contributions and achievements.

Walter de Klein was named Student of the Year, while Ciska de Haan – de Wilde was recognized as Valedictorian. Cees Koomen received the Professor of the Year award.

The graduation was not only a celebration of academic achievement, but also of the people who made the journey possible. Partners, family members and friends supported the participants throughout the program, while faculty, the program team and many others within Nyenrode contributed to their Executive MBA experience.

From Executive MBA to Impact MBA

The graduation of EMBA22 also marks a special moment in Nyenrode's MBA history, as the cohort is the final group to graduate from the Executive MBA program. The foundations and experiences built through the Executive MBA continue in Nyenrode's Impact MBA. The program brings together personal leadership, digital transformation and sustainability, preparing a new generation of leaders to create positive impact in business and society.

For EMBA22, however, graduation marks the beginning of another chapter. As members of the Nyenrode alumni community, the graduates take with them the knowledge, experiences and relationships built throughout their MBA journey.
