What can you expect?

You round up your complete Modular MBA program by writing a thesis. You choose your own practical management issue, which you will research using a scientific method. You will translate the results of your research into practical advice for your organization.

Curriculum

What are you going to do?

The Modular Executive MBA thesis revolves around a practical management issue from within your own organization. The result needs to be both scientifically sound and practically applicable. It also provides an overview of your personal development. 

This module lasts a maximum of twelve months and contains:
  • formulating and verifying your research question
  • conducting your research and writing your thesis
  • presenting and defending your thesis
  • During this module you receive personal guidance.

Create your own MBA

We understand combining work, study and personal life can be quite a challenge. That is why we have developed a modular MBA program. You create your own MBA and follow one or more modules or a complete MBA (containing a minimum of two specialization modules, six core modules, the international study trip and the MBA thesis).

Admission and application

To be eligible to start your Modular MBA thesis you need:

  • to have completed the other modules
  • at least five years' work experience as (general) manager or in an influential/strategic position
  • proven minimum bachelor's level of work and/or education
  • sufficient knowledge of English

Experience session

If you are interested in the Modular Executive MBA, please join us for an experience session. This allows you to familiarize yourself with the course content and attend a trial lecture. You will also meet current and past participants so you have the opportunity to find out how they combined our program with busy jobs and social lives.

Your investment for this module is € 8,410.-. This amount is exempt from VAT and includes access to all of Nyenrode's physical and virtual student facilities as well as food and drink on course days. Hotel accommodations are not included in the price and can be booked separately.
