Why Insight in corporate governance?
Insight into the dynamics between management, supervision and shareholders
Governance issues rarely exist in isolation. Roles, responsibilities, interests, and legal, regulatory, and governance frameworks are closely intertwined. In order to be able to make good decisions in an increasingly complex environment, insight is needed into the bigger picture of management, supervision and decision-making. For professionals who are active in or around the boardroom - and for those starting out in (non) executive roles - it is therefore important to understand these interrelationships and the complexity of governance.
Insight in Corporate Governance helps you understand how the board, supervisory board, shareholders and other stakeholders relate to each other and how responsibilities, decision-making and boardroom dynamics influence each other.
This corporate governance course therefore not only provides knowledge of individual roles and rules, but above all insight into their interdependence. This allows you to better assess governance issues in conjunction and make a professional contribution to management, supervision and decision-making from your own role.
