What are you going to do?
This module deals with digital transformation from a boardroom perspective. It is a deep dive into how executive boards take decisions in response to the aforementioned challenges; how boardroom dynamics work to initiate and to support innovation and digitalization throughout the company; how a vision is translated into strategy; and how a board can be convinced to take on new projects without proven revenue track record, while providing enough room to operate with new ideas that sometimes may change existing business models and demand transformational leadership across the organization. It provides you with the latest literature regarding innovation and digital transformation and leadership while enabling you to translate your academic insights into skills needed to: understand boardroom dynamics; convince a board of new innovative ideas and to take the lead in digital transformation projects.
During the module there is a strong focus on exchange between theory and practice. It involves a fair amount of case work in teams as we believe that the most precious learnings also come from your peers and their experience building on the knowledge and experience-sharing of the teachers. Hence, an important aspect of the course is interaction, realized via classroom dialogue, discussion, and peer exchange.
Create your own MBA
We understand combining work, study and personal life can be quite a challenge. That is why we have developed a modular MBA program. You create your own MBA and follow one or more modules or a complete MBA (containing a minimum of two track modules (specializations), six basic modules, the international study trip and the MBA thesis).
