Risk and Finance

Our module Risk and Finance strengthens your knowledge about the risks and financing of IT investments in particular, something you encounter in your daily working life. You learn how to immediately apply your acquired knowledge in your daily practice, and how to translate numbers to concrete actions. This way, you are presented with a mix of theoretical concepts and best practices centering on connecting business with IT.

What are you going to do?

Our module Risk and Finance is centered on corporate finance and risk. You learn to apply your acquired knowledge to your daily work, and learn how to do research into financial and IT matters. The module contains 3 blocks:

  • Finance and Accounting basics
  • Corporate Finance & Management
  • Finance and IT in the Networked World

Create your own MBA

We understand combining work, study and personal life can be quite a challenge. That is why we have developed a modular MBA program. You create your own MBA and follow one or more modules or a complete MBA (containing a minimum of two track modules (specializations), six basic modules, the international study trip and the MBA thesis).

If you only want to do this module, we are happy to accommodate you too!

Admission and application

To be eligible for the module Risk and Finance you need:

  • At least five years' work experience as (general) manager or in an influential/strategic position
  • Proven minimum bachelor's level of work and/or education
  • Affinity with ICT
  • Sufficient knowledge of English

Experience session

If you are interested in this module, please join us for an experience session. This allows you to familiarize yourself with the course content and attend a trial lecture. You will also meet current and past participants so there is the opportunity to find out how they combined our program with busy jobs and social lives.

Investment

Your investment for this module is € 6,495. This amount is exempt from VAT and includes access to all of Nyenrode's physical and virtual student facilities as well as food and drink on course days. Hotel accommodations are not included in the price and can be booked separately.
