Coming from an engineering background, I wanted to broaden my strategic and marketing knowledge. Studying at Nyenrode helped me explore new ways to contribute to business growth, from using data analytics in strategic decision-making to learning from different perspectives. I especially valued the open interaction with professors and the strong, almost family-like community.

As an entrepreneur, I came to Nyenrode with years of practical experience but wanted to become a better leader for my companies. I was able to translate what I learned directly to my businesses, while case studies challenged assumptions in areas I thought I already knew well. Learning alongside professionals from different cultures and backgrounds made the experience even more valuable.

After 15 years in marketing and communications in Taiwan, I wanted to step outside my familiar environment and gain a more international perspective. At Nyenrode, I learned alongside people from many different cultures and backgrounds, while broadening my knowledge beyond marketing into areas such as strategy and finance. The experience also gave me greater confidence to speak up and share my ideas.

I came to Nyenrode wanting to understand how to run a company and explore where I wanted to take my career. What stood out was how practical the learning was. Working on real business challenges helped me understand how different areas of business create value, while pitching and presenting pushed me outside my comfort zone. I left with broader business knowledge and greater confidence in communicating my ideas.

After building my career in finance in Asia, I wanted to broaden my horizons and explore a new direction in Europe. At Nyenrode, I learned as much from the diversity of my classmates as I did from the classroom. Different cultures, industries and professional backgrounds exposed me to new perspectives, while working on real business cases helped turn theory into practical learning.

After 15 years of international experience, I came to Nyenrode wanting to grow as a leader and strengthen my ability to discuss business at management level. I discovered that even when you already understand the fundamentals, new perspectives can make a real difference. Applying concepts to real situations and learning from others reminded me that professional development is a continuous journey.
