In a repeat to last year’s achievement, the Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration has once again been rated as the best program in the Netherlands in the category of International Business in the “Keuzegids Universiteiten 2019” (a selection guide for universities). The program far outperformed all other bachelor programs in the Economics & Business sector of the guide. With an overall score of 94 points out of 100, the BSc in Business Administration is the only program in the International Business category to earn the designation of “top program”, even tying for second place among all bachelor programs in the Netherlands.

The ranking of universities with the best education is published once per year by the Keuzegids, and is based on scores from students as well as the opinions of educational experts. The Keuzegids is an independent guide that rates all recognized degree programs in the Netherlands.

'Enthousiastic'

The guide said the following about the program: “Nyenrode’s students give the private university rave reviews in nearly every area. Students appreciate the high number of contact hours and receive intensive guidance from their lecturers.” The program also earned maximum scores for its curriculum, assessments, lecturers, academic training, practice-oriented approach, feasibility and facilities.

In the BSc in Business Administration’s intensive academic program aimed at personal development, students at the campus in Breukelen are poised to play a leading role in the business world of the future. The Keuzegids concludes with this advice for prospective students: “At Nyenrode, you really get your money’s worth.”

Practice-oriented approach

The part-time BSc in Accountancy was rated as the best program in the Fiscal Economics category as well. The accountancy students spend one day per week at one of the eight locations in the country (Breukelen, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Eindhoven, Breda, Arnhem or Zwolle) and work at an accounting firm on the other four days. Students especially value the program’s practice-oriented approach.
