As part of Nyenrode Corporate Governance Institute's strategic focus on 'Making Markets Fit for Purpose', Nyenrode Business Universiteit and NewForesight Consultancy facilitated an author workshop to write a book on 'Changing the Game: How to Achieve Sustainable Market Transformation'.
More than 25 participants joined the workshop and committed themselves to share their knowledge and expertise in writing several chapters on sectors like construction, textile, energy and finance.
This book is a follow up of the successful book on ‘Changing the Food Game’, but targets a broader audience and the inclusion of many different sectors next to agro food. The book will be published in 2019 by Taylor & Francis. The book will apply a system thinking approach, showing how sectors go through phases of market transformation before stabilizing on a higher level of sustainability.
During the author workshop Lucas Simons, Founder and CEO of NewForesight, and André Nijhof, Professor of Sustainable Business and Stewardship shared their vision on this topic. As a next step participants in the workshop will share their progress in several webinars. Also Andrea Viviers and Julie Philips, Associate Consultants at NewForesight, will contribute to the joint writing process of this book.
