The EBSCO Business Source Complete database provides full text articles and abstracts from many scholarly business journals. The database contains information in nearly every area of business including management, economics, finance, accounting, international business and more. The database also includes other sources of full text information such as country economic reports of the EIU, Global Insight, ICON Group and Country Watch and detailed company profiles for the world’s 10,000 largest companies. With EBSCO's App you can find journal articles in the EBSCO databases on your smartphone or tablet.
Get the App:
Connect to Nyenrode's Eduroam WIFI network on campus, or log on to Citrix.
Access EBSCO via the the library website.
Click the EBSCOhost iPhone and Android Applications link at the bottom of the page and enter your email address.
Note: You must use an email address that you can access from your device.
Follow the instructions in the email you've received.
Now you can search the EBSCO databases on your mobile device from wherever you are.
After nine months you will have to perform this authorization process again.
Cited references
In the EBSCO database Business Source Complete you can view and search cited references. Many articles have a ‘Cited References’ link and a ‘Times Cited’ link. These links enable you to find the articles that were cited by an article or to find articles that cited a specific article. Make sure you’ve only selected the database Business Source Complete. Deselect all other databases in the screen 'Choose Databases'.
Finding scholarly journals
You can limit your search to scholarly journals by activating the Checkbox 'Scholarly (peer reviewed) journals below 'Limit your results'. See the screenshot below.
Finding case studies
To find case studies select 'Case study' as Document type below 'Limit your results'. See the screenshot below.
Search and journal alerts
In EBSCO you can set up your personal Search and Journal Alerts. This feature can be set up to provide automatic notification to your email address whenever new information will become available

Creating search alerts: SmartText Searching allows you to search simply by using natural language. You can copy and paste chunks of text (up to 5000 characters including spaces) to search for results. SmartText Searching leverages a technology that summarizes text entered to the most relevant search terms. When you click the SmartText Searching radio button, the Find field grows to indicate that you can enter as much text as you want. See the screenshot below.
