The housemaster will play a central role within the organisation. He or she is responsible for complying with the code of conduct in relation to the learning and working environment. Interacting with the students is the main task; however, the tasks also include performing minor maintenance and repair work on the building and the responsibility for setting-up rooms and the opening and closing of the building. The housemaster is skilled in dealing with students during behavioural disturbances in a matter consistent with the agreements made and the school's rules. He or she understands the organisation and the working method of the school; The housemaster is skilled in solving problems concerning complaints, disruptions, maintenance, and set-up of rooms and has practically oriented knowledge to deal with devices and their possible applications.
