I enjoy inspiring and guiding people and firms finding creative ways to capitalize on cutting-edge technologies and technology-enabled trends.

Dr. Sam Solaimani is Program Director of Full-Time MBA Program and Associate Professor at Nyenrode’s Center of Marketing and Supply Chain Management. He is fascinated by every bit and byte of “Digital Transformation”, especially the impact of emerging technologies and industrial evolution on firms’ business models and operations. He is also interested in the Lean philosophy and world-class operations, especially its application beyond the conventional settings.

Sam’s research is mainly driven by his national and international collaboration with corporate partners, including but not limited to, KPN, Siemens, Philips, ABN Amro, Achmea, TNO, Uneto VNI, Getronics, Cap Gemini; and countless SMEs and startups in the manufacturing, FMCG, consumer electronics sectors. He has published numerous articles, some of which have recently appeared in highly-rated journals including the Journal of Business Research (JBR), Journal of Cleaner Production (JCP), European Management Review (EMR), Information Systems Frontiers (ISF), Technological Forecasting and Social Change (TFSC). He is a member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), International Community of Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), European Operations Management Association (EUROmA), and a regular reviewer for several publishers including Journal of Business Ethics, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Journal of Information Systems Frontiers, and Electronic Markets.
