The challenge

Nyenrode has two campuses: Breukelen and Amsterdam. The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BScBA) program was set up in 2016 and has also been offered at the Amsterdam campus since September 2020.

The Amsterdam campus also houses the full-time MBA, Master of Science in Management and Executive Education programs. It is home to a vibrant incubator community with start-ups. Amsterdam is a small-scale campus with approx. 300–350 students and there is an open, creative, and international atmosphere, where there is a lot of personal attention to the development of the students, the team, and staff.

The 3-year BScBA program is on the threshold of major new developments such as rapidly growing student numbers, further internationalization and working towards upcoming accreditations. We are now in a phase where we are going to give the original program a solid foundation.

In the role of Program Coordinator, you are at the center of these developments and you will be closely involved in the organization of the program and its participants. You will work closely with the young and close-knit BScBA team.  You are part of both the program team in Breukelen and the team in Amsterdam.

As Program Coordinator you carry out varied, organizational, and administrative tasks, both independently and as part of a team, including providing information to prospective students, enrolment, scheduling, program coordination and other related activities. In the first few months, you will be trained at both the Amsterdam and Breukelen campuses. Subsequently, you will be based in Amsterdam and will regularly work from Breukelen.

Activities:

• You are responsible for keeping student files, grade records, student records and scheduling matters up to date.
• You support the BScBA organization, for instance by taking care of and distributing course materials, booking lecture rooms, invoicing tuition fees, conducting evaluations with students, quality control and monitoring deadlines.
• You are the point of contact for (potential) students from the moment of application; this means you are in frequent contact with both our students and with lecturers.
• You organize education-related events, such as the introduction week and project week.

Nyenrode Amsterdam

The Nyenrode team in Amsterdam is a professional and close-knit team (20-25 employees) where colleagues work closely together to provide good content for the courses, programs, and the Amsterdam Nyenrode Experience. We work in Amsterdam in a transparent and agile manner and form pools, allowing employees to take over each other’s work at peak times or when a colleague is absent. We learn from our mistakes, celebrate successes, work hard, and laugh hard together. Who are you?

The right candidate will have the following qualities:

• Preferably educated at BSc level.
• You have several years of experience in an administrative position.
• You are proactive, accurate, flexible, and methodical.
• You are customer-friendly, service-oriented, and tactful.
• You have an open mind and are communicative.
• You have a good command of the English (and Dutch) language(s), both orally and in writing.
• You are hands-on and do not have a 9-to-5 mentality.
• You have experience with MS Office.
• An affinity with the use of websites (SharePoint), student administration and CRM systems and several years of work experience are a plus.

• A gross salary of maximum €3,276, depending on your age and work experience, in the case of full-time employment (Scale 7).
• Fixed 5,1 % end of year bonus.
• Flexible end of year bonus, up to 4,5% (2021 was 2,5%)
• 30 days off (with the option of five more)
• € 850 to be spent with Coolblue (online shop) to facilitate a home office.
• Reimbursements for internet, gym, working from home, travel allowance, etc.
• Pension scheme is through ABP.
