Student association NCV (Nieuwe Compagnie van Verre, or New Company from Afar) was founded in 1947, a mere four months after the foundation of the university itself. Prince Bernhard von Lippe Bisterveld (1911-2004), our current king's grandfather, was an honorary member and patron.
The NCV is both a study association and a social club. Its members follow one of the following programs:
The association is an important link between the students and the university and provides a valuable contribution to your studies and to campus life. Many students broaden their personal and professional networks through the NCV, providing them with a wealth of contacts for their future.
The NCV gives its members the opportunity to join one or more of the 41 committees, as well as one of the many sub-associations, clubs and societies connected to it.
