Digital Transformation in the Boardroom

Decisions made in boardrooms have a substantial impact on your daily operations, so you will benefit from understanding boardroom dynamics and knowing what challenges boardroom members face. Our module Digital Transformation in the Boardroom provides you with the knowledge and skills you need to be an effective partner to the board.

You will learn about ownership structures and good corporate governance, and we will show you how current developments, especially those in the fields of technology and digital transformation, affect executive boards in their decision making.

What are you going to do?

The module Digital Transformation in the Boardroom looks at governance looks at technology's effect on the boardroom and how you can influence this. There are three blocks of two days:
  • Changing landscape from a CIO perspective: enterprise characteristics, your role in digital transformation, and boardroom dynamics
  • Globalization, sustainable development goals and a multi-stakeholder approach: changes impacting the board's agenda
  • Transformational leadership: your role in bridging board room dynamics and your organization's needs

Create your own MBA

We understand combining work, study and personal life can be quite a challenge. That is why we have developed a modular MBA program. You create your own MBA and follow one or more modules or a complete MBA (containing a minimum of two track modules (specializations), six basic modules, the international study trip and the MBA thesis).

Admission

To be eligible for the module Digital Transformation in the Boardroom you need:

  • At least five years' work experience as (general) manager or in an influential/strategic position
  • Proven minimum bachelor's level of work and/or education
  • Affinity with ICT
  • Sufficient knowledge of English

Experience session

If you are interested in this module, please join us for an experience session. This allows you to familiarize yourself with the course content and attend a trial lecture. You will also meet current and past participants so there is the opportunity to find out how they combined our program with busy jobs and social lives.
