On April 20th, Nyenrode welcomed speaker Marieke Vrins as part of the Nyenrode Online Breakfast Sessions. She introduced the participants to the challenges related to her work for several NGO’s on the Greek Island Lesvos.

On November 3rd, 2020, Nyenrode welcomed Loek van den Boog, Founder and Chairman of Net4kids, a matchmaker between business and local child aid projects in Asia and Africa as part of the Nyenrode Online Breakfast Sessions.
Steven Sijperda was a student in the Full-time Master of Science in Management (FTMSc) program last year and chairman of the Nyenrode student association in Breukelen. This role allowed him to take the lessons he learned on leadership and immediately put them into practice.
Marjolein Bakker, an alumna of the Full-time MSc in International Management, has recently embarked on a collaboration to publish her thesis as an article. Joining her in this effort are Prof André Nijhof and Dr Henk Kievit, both professors at Nyenrode Business University. Her Master’s thesis, “Exploring Encroachment: value propositions and the role of disruptive innovation in attracting new customers”, examines the type of innovation that drives new customers to buy a particular value proposition. The provocative title of Bakker’s forthcoming article reads: “Can the customer still be king in the era of sustainability?”
